About 4S Ranch Karate

4S Ranch Martial Arts Will Hank 2

West Coast Martial Arts Academy strives to create a positive learning experience for all ages. We have taught martial arts in 4S Ranch for over 10 years.  We promise to be everything your family needs in a martial arts school.

The school is always growing.  Although we teach some traditional martial arts, we are not afraid to adapt to change.  Still, we will never compromise our integrity or quality.  For that reason, we inspire all West Coast Martial Arts Academy students to strive to be their best!

With that in mind, we are committed to providing safe and friendly training environment. Most importantly, we want a place where all ages and all levels can experience the life changing benefits of the martial arts.

4S Ranch Martial Arts Will and Hank 1West Coast Martial Arts Academy’s instructors have years of training experience.  We don’t just throw anyone on the mat to teach.  We have an instructor training course to create leaders on and off the mat. Because of this, they are well equipped to teach students in private and group classes.

Our martial arts school in 4S Ranch is superior to any other facility.  Our facility is 5,000 square feet.  Furthermore, our training mats are the best that money can buy.  Because of this, you will never feel cramped or stuck  when practicing in class.

Our Roots

Have you ever heard of Kajukenbo?  It was America’s first mixed martial art.  Kajukenbo Combines several fighting arts.  First, our main striking arts are karate, kenpo, and boxing.  Second, for throws, we have Judo and Chin Na.  Lastly, we teach standing Jiu-Jitsu for control techniques. It all started on the main island in Hawaii.  Adriano Emperado founded it in 1947. Today, it has become one of the most popular forms of self-defense practiced in the world today.

The art of Kajukenbo is constantly evolving.  We have incorporated techniques from Erik Paulson’s Combat Submission Wrestling and STX program.  In short, we continue to evolve our fighting system.  Still, there is always more to learn.  In short, this is what makes our 4S Ranch martial arts program the best!
